Don’t buy cheap Midi controllers, they are a waste of time. Cant even sync correctly in the first place, fluctuating tempo control arrggghh. Now I have to do things the old school way, pressing record on the desk and play on the laptop perfectly in time, track after track. JOY! In the near future ill be looking at the Alesis iO|26 Firewire midi controller with 16 track analogue to digital audio inputs, which will also help the laptops poor sound quality, but its bound to cut down a few money tree’s at around AU$1000.
Swamp cables are pretty good, I’m very happy with the quality / price ratio. I can thoroughly recommend these cables. The cheapo Guitar tuner works nicely as well. Its not 100% Accurate but its enough to get it reasonably in tune.. When really, I should just use the keyboard to tune the bass and the guitar, but its just a convenience having a small portable tuner.
I haven’t scratched in a LOOOONG time, so I had to play around with it for half an hour or so before recording this lol. Same with the rest of the gear. I sat there trying to remember what buttons to press, Too stubborn to pick up the user manual.
