The first Track from the new album. Basically an introduction to the concept. Recorded in my home studio, its kind of a bit rough around the edges as I only started playing again a few weeks before. It took quite a few taks to get it right, and since I cant remember how to cut in and out on the 16 track I had to play it from beginning to end. With my arms about to fall off due to lack of supporting muscle. Really got to get back into practice.
The video was all shot one early morning out the back of work. I only had an hour and a half to get it done before I was due to start, so I really had to cram it in.. The funny thing, is that the entire concept was, me doing things, me in monkey suit doing things. So Its all on the spot. I love working like this some times as it allows for quite a lot of freedom. But his can also back fire if you get stumped for creativity on the day.
This track was all made by me, as its just the introduction, from now on, I’ll only be playing one part, and directing.
